Colour Sequence
Watch a growing sequence of four flashing colours, then repeat it with the arrows to use visual working memory.
Learning goal
Practise watching a short visual sequence, holding it in mind, and rebuilding it in the same order.
This is a playful attention and sequence-memory activity. It does not provide an intelligence or IQ score, psychometric assessment, diagnosis, or ranking of children.
How to play
- When the page opens, watch the colour circle and wait until the flashing stops before choosing an arrow.
- Repeat the sequence with the on-screen arrow buttons or the arrow keys on a keyboard.
- After a correct sequence, the game automatically adds one more colour.
- If the sequence gets mixed up, choose Restart for a new short round.
Note for parents and teachers
Do not recite the sequence for the child. In early rounds, suggest tracing the directions in the air or keeping a quiet rhythm. Avoid time pressure or comparisons.
